5 Estée Lauder brands are teaming up to support the Breast Cancer Awareness campaign and to raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Aveda, Clinique, Darphin, Estée Lauder and Origins all released one (or more) of their products in a limited edition pink ribbon packaging.
According to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation screening and providing early detection increases survival rates, but also minimizes the chances of needing a mastectomy or requiring chemotherapy. So starting in your 20s, get an annual checkup and breast exam by a doctor. Next to that you also need to do self-exams on a regular base.
Now let's take a closer look at the pink ribbon products!
Origins - Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask
Everyone knows Origins for their excellent masks, so a mask was an obvious and good choice. The Drink Up mask is an hydrating night mask, that boosts the skin. The ingredients like avocado, apricot oil and Japanese seaweed make sure that your skin feels refreshed in the morning. I will probably do a review on this product, but expect it in January - first I need to drop all those holiday posts!
The mask is in Belgium only available at Parfuma. Estée Lauder Companies will donate €4 of this product to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), with a maximum donation of €36.000.
Estée Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II
It's pretty cool that Estée Lauder picked out one of their most sold and most iconic products. I have already reviewed the serum here. The ANR comes with a pink ribbon clip that you can wear to show your support.
Estée Lauder Companies will donate 20% -so about €24- to the BCRF. Really nice to see they picked out this product, because it's already so popular, this one will raise a lot of money.
Estée Lauder - Pink Perfection Color-Collection
The new Color-Collection contains a make-up palette with 4 Pure Color Envy eyeshadow shades, a Pure Color Envy blush and a Pure Color Envy lipstick (full size). Estée Lauder used their bestselling shades for this collection. The palette comes in a pretty pink bag with a zipper and a mirror inside. The quality is as you know it from Estée Lauder, and the lipstick is such a pretty toned down pink shade.
This pretty pink bag is available at Inno in Belgium and Estée Lauder Companies will donate 100% of the Pink Color-Collection to BRCF. 100%. So if you would like to contribute to Breast Cancer Awareness, but also like make-up, this is the perfect option.
Origins - Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask (€25)
Estée Lauder - Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II Pink Ribbon (€124,13)
Estée Lauder - Pink Perfection Color-Collection (€51,72)
The other products for the BCA campaign are: Aveda - Hand Relief Creme, Clinique - Moisturizing Lotion and Darphin - Redness Relief Soothing Serum. I was amazed when I read that Estée Lauder entered so many products for the campaign, and I was even more surprised when I read that 100% of the purchase price of the Pink Perfection Color Collection goes to the campaign and the research foundation.
What do you think about this campaign?
Are you doing self-checks and an annual checkup with the doctor?
Love, Rani
I've said it before, I think it's awesome that you get to support a good cause while at the same time treating yourself!
ReplyDeleteExactly!!
DeleteCampaigns like this are so important! It's great to see that Estée Lauder does a great effort in raising awareness of breast cancer. And also the fact that when you buy a product , they donate such a large amount is just wonderful to hear. I also have to say that the Color Collection looks amazing! The lipstick has a really beautiful color!
