Yankee Candle Warm Summer Nights

Because of the little blogpause a while ago, I have some great candles waiting for you (Acqua di Parma, Diptyque, Jo Malone,...) but today I'm showing you one of my all time favorites: some Yankees! Specifically, the Yankee Candle Warm Summer Nights collection!

Warm Summer Nights

I actually sell Yankee Candle in my online store too. It's not the focus (focus is beauty), but I really wanted Yankee, because seriously, don't we all love Yankee Candle? They're so good, and so affordable too. 

Warm Summer Nights includes 4 new fragrances that bring together the bright scents of sweet blossoms in the garden, evening walks by the ocean, the refreshing mix of passion fruit martini and dreamy summer slumbers. A collection filled with color and warmth.

Passion Fruit Martini

Passion Fruit Martini is a very sweet scent. It is described as: "Sit Back, relax and savor a tropical mix of passion fruit, mango and zesty orange. It's like a long sip of a true beachside cocktail." 

Top notes: Juicy pineapple, tropical mango, zesty orange

Middle note: Peach

Base note: Musk

Dreamy Summer Nights

"A relaxing blend of vanilla bean, heliotrope and a hint of woodiness spreads the subtle magic of a warm night in soft bloom."

Top notes: Orange, vanilla, sugar

Middle notes: Heliotrope, vanilla orchid

Base notes: Vanilla bean, amber, cedar wood

A relaxing scent, perfect to end the evening with. The vanilla is the note that comes through the most, in harmony with the amber, which makes it not too sweet, but gives it some depth too.

Sunset Breeze

"Take an evening stroll on a beach, with scents of tropical fruits moving on the breeze, back and forth, just like the surf."

Top notes: Tropical pineapple, peach, mango

Middle note: Pear blossom

Base note: Musk

If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Sunset Breeze. A very fresh, but also sweet scent. The fruity notes like peach and mango are most noticeable.

Flowers In The Sun

"A remarkably bright scent of sweet blossoms which conjures up images of a walk in the garden, with sunlight spilling over all the golden colours."

Top notes: Lemon, orange

Middle notes: Blooming azaleas, rosebuds, pink waterlillies

Base note: Sweet airy musk

Flower In The Sun is a very floral scent, but not too floral. I'm not a fan of floral scents, not in perfume, not in candles. But the lemon and musk balance it out, so that it's a perfect floral harmony.

What's fun about Yankee Candle is that you can buy wax tarts (€1,99) of every fragrance, votives (€2,60 - small candles) to try out the scent and small/medium/large jars. You can shop them at Beauty & Bobs, but every country has some good Yankee Candle resellers, so getting your hands not these won't be difficult at all!
