Clinique - Moisture Surge

A cute little pink jar, with a pink gelly cream that promises your skin will never feel dry again. Already a staple in many lives, so I was pretty curious about the Clinique Moisture Surge.

Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief

The packaging looks simple yet pretty. A pink jar with silver lid. The only downside is that a jar packaging is less hygienic than a pump bottle for example. The cream promises to immediately boost the skin's hydration level and to make the skin more soft. It's suitable for all skin types.

I didn't got an ingredient list with it, but I searched the ingredients online and they all look good, lots of antioxidants, some silicons, hyaluronic acid, everything looks fine. Moisture Surge has a cream-gel formula, which feels good on the skin, gets absorbed immediately and doesn't leave a greasy layer. (Love gel like textures!) I did notice a soft, tightening feeling from the first time I used it. My skin felt hydrated and very soft.

You can use this in a lot of ways. As a moisturizer of course, as a hydration-bomb on top of your regular moisturizer, or even as a night mask! Then you just apply a thick layer of cream, go to bed and wake-up with a refreshed, rehydrated skin.

Clinique - Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief (€33 for 50ml)

The best part about this moisturizer is that it's really affordable, the 30ml only costs €22,20 - which is not much for a high-end skincare product.

There are some other products in the Moisture Surge line too: an even more intense hydrator, a face spray (need!) an overnight mask and a melting mask balm. All of these sound interesting too, especially the face spray and the masks. Face sprays are amazing on days like today, when I'm typing articles with no make-up on behind my macbook, a spritz of some facial water and I'm hydrated (and awake!) again. Even though you can use the moisturizer as a mask, I can understand that you might find this too expensive, so luckily there are some other masks.

Have you ever tried this?

Love, Rani
