Clinique - Glaze, Lacquer & Lid Pop

When something works, you stick to it. And that's exactly what Clinique did when they created 3 new Pop products. We all loved and went crazy about the Pop lipsticks and now there is a new eyeshadow, sheer lipstick and gloss line. More Pop's to love?

Clinique Pop Glaze Sheer Lip Colour + Primer

The Pop lipstick newest younger sibling has sheer, transparant colors. It still is a color and primer in one and moisturizes the lips for about 8 hours. The formula applies easy and smooth and it gives a little wash of color. There are 6 colors available at the moment, all with a sheer coverage and glowy finish. The one you see here, Melon Drop Pop is swatched below.

Clinique Pop Lacquer Lip Colour + Primer

We now have the regular lipstick, the sheer lipstick - so what's missing? A gloss! The Pop Lacquer is a fluid lip color and primer in one. It covers completely and is available in 8 colors. The formula is nice, it's not too sticky (reminds of Dior Addict Fluid Stick, yet Clinique is a tad more sticky) and  the applicator has the perfect shape to work with, you can apply it neat and precise.

The lippies both do exactly what they should do. Pop Glaze is sheer, with a touch of color and Pop Lacquer has full coverage with a shiny, polished finish.

Clinique Lid Pop

We're not even done yet, the best is yet to come. My personal favorite from these new Pop products, Lid Pop! Lid Pop is a powder eyeshadow with the emphasis on it's buildability. The color that I have is Petal Pop, and it's a gorgeous soft pink color. It has a peachy shine to it, and I would absolutely dare to call it a duochrome. It is indeed very buildable, you can add just a sheer pop of color, or build it like the swatches above. On the eyes it's a bit harder to get a fuller color, but with a good primer and a wet brush, it works for me.

I know that Pop Glaze en Lacquer will make some of you very happy, but my heart beats faster because of Lid Pop. Petal Pop is a beautiful color, and I'm wondering if the other colors also are duochromes - I will check out the other 5 colors in store and let you know.
