A new Illasmasqua post and guys, I found a new favorite mascara.
I got these products a while ago, and I don't really use pigments that often but the swatches on the website were so pretty, I just had to order it. I got the white/silver/pearly one in the color 'Beguile'. The little box has the same 'Illamasqua' shape as the lipstick and personally I like it, the only thing is that the pigment flies everywhere when I open it and I'm always really careful. I think it would have been better if there were smaller holes instead of one big one or if it was in the form of a little jar.
The pigment itself is gorgeous. It has small shimmers in it that sparkle in each lighting. I prefer to apply it wet and with a base, I find that this is the best way to get the most out of the product. (The swatches are dry.) The color is also versatile. It can be used alone or in literally every other look, because when you use a small amount, you just get the shimmers and no actual color.
You know that I am never too fond of trying out new mascaras. I'm happy with my Chanel Le Volume and my Bobbi Brown Smoky Eyes. I tried the Masquara by Illamasqua, already thinking I would give it to my mom. But wow, hello new favorite! This mascara gives me length and curl! The formula is in-between; not too wet and not too dry, comparable to Le Volume. The brush is bigger than most brushes, but it applies the mascara easy and well. I personally like Bobbi Brown a bit more than Chanel, but because Le Volume is so easy to wipe off at night, Chanel has always been my go-to. But the Illamasqua Masquara is also easy removable so I'm thrilled with this mascara!

The mascara is great, and also not that expensive. I would definitely recommend it.

The mascara looks great! It gives a really nice curl to your eyelashes!
