When trying out La Mer, you hàve to try the iconic Illuminating Eye Gel, and that's exactly what I did!
When I reviewed the La Mer skintint, I already told you the story of La Mer, so we're heading straight to the packaging.
I like the packaging better than The Moisturizing Lotion. The silver cap gives it a lovely touch, it's a small cute bottle that nowadays - with the warm weather - can be found often in my bag.
It also has a little pump, which is more hygienic and that's needed for a cream around your eyes.

The eye gel contains (of course) Miracle Broth, thé La Mer ingredient. The Miracle Broth engages the skin's natural renewal process. There also are antioxidants within the Awakening Ferment that help protect against the negative effects of the environment, fatigue and stress.
This eye gel feels so refreshing. It feels a bit cool when you apply it, and it has a very soft, very pleasant and unique feeling. It even feels a bit powdery at the end.
You can apply it under the eyes, but also on the lids and up to your browbones. I usually use this in the morning and evening. The illuminating eye gel really gives a more open look, and it works on fine lines too!

The Illuminating Eye Gel is here to stay, it's a regular in my evening routine (and most of the time morning too), and it's just one of my favorite eye gel/creams.

Ik heb hem al zien liggen in de Ici Paris en toen zeiden ze dat deze heel goed verkocht. Nu ben ik wel aan het twijfelen om hem volgende keer mee te nemen. x Marlies
