RITUALS: SUN PROTECTION & SHANTI SHOWER.

ENG: I got three great products from Rituals last week.

The label Rituals doesn't need any introduction, I think we all have at least one Rituals product in our bathroom.

In my package were two sun protection creams and a shower oil.

NL: Ik ontving drie hele leuke productjes van Rituals. 

Rituals heeft geen verdere introductie nodig, ik denk dat iedereen wel tenminste één product van Rituals in de badkamer heeft staan.

In mijn pakketje zaten twee zonnecrèmes en een doucheolie.

ENG: First a word about the shower oil. This shower oil is named Shanti shower and comes from the Ayurveda-line, my absolute favorite!

I have the clay-scrub, body scrub, body/massageoil, bath foam and shower foam. 

So nice that I got the Shanti shower in the mail!

NL: Eerst een woordje over de doucheolie. Deze doucheolie heet Shanti shower en komt van de Ayurveda-lijn, toevallig mijn absolute favoriet! 

Ik heb de klei-scrub, bodyscrub, body/massageolie, badschuim en doucheschuim. 

Superleuk dus dat ik de Shanti shower in de bus kreeg!

Package:

ENG: Rituals always has luxe-like packages, this bottle also looks classy.

NL: Rituals heeft altijd luxe ogende verpakkingen, ook dit flesje ziet er stijlvol uit.

Scent:

ENG: What I like about the Ayurveda-line is that every products has it's own scent, they have the same undertones, but yet they differ notably from each other. 

This shower oil smells sweet thanks to the Indian rose and almondoil. 

NL: Wat ik leuk vind aan de Ayurveda-lijn is dat elk product toch weer zijn eigen geur heeft, ze hebben dezelfde ondertonen, maar toch verschillen ze merkbaar van elkaar.

Deze doucheolie ruikt lekker zoet dankzij de Indische roos en amandelolie. 

Feeling:

ENG: First you have a soft oil, as soon as you mix it with water the oil changes to foam.
Of course not a huge bath of foam, but just enough to use it as shower foam.
Normally I don't like 'greasy' products, but this shower oil is easy rinsable. You don't leave the shower with sticky skin but with a soft skin thanks to the combination of oil and foam.

NL: Eerst heb je een zachte olie, zodra je deze mengt met water verandert de olie in schuim.

Natuurlijk geen gigantisch schuimbad, maar net genoeg om hem te gebruiken als doucheschuim.

Normaal hou ik echt niet van 'vettige' producten, het fijne aan deze doucheolie is dat hij heel gemakkelijk afwasbaar is. Je verlaat de douche dus niet met een vettig huidje maar met een zacht huidje dankzij de combinatie van olie en schuim.

ENG: There were also two sunscreens in the package.

One for the face, factor 50 and a regular one, factor 30.

I was able to test these sunblocks real good because I was at an amusement park yesterday. 

A whole day in the sun, and I can tell you the sun and I are not friends.

I wasn't that happy to walk a whole day in the sun, so I spread these creams over my arms and face and as control I didn't use it on my feet.

Because I don't want to tan, I used factor 50. 

I smeared the sunscreen after 4 hours again, and at the end of the day I didn't tan!

As control: my feet were tanned, you could see the tan lines very clearly.

My mom, who sunburns quickly and gets very red, was able to manage a whole day in the sun thanks to these sunscreens, she didn't even get red.

I'm véry pleased about these sunscreens, I definitely recommend it to everyone who wants to be protected against the sun.

NL: Wat er nog in het pakketje zat waren deze twee zonnecrèmes. 

Eentje voor het gezicht, factor 50 en een gewone factor 30.

Deze zonnecrèmes heb ik héél goed kunnen uittesten, ik was gisteren namelijk een hele dag in Walibi, een pretpark.

Een hele dag in de vlakke zon en ik kan je vertellen, de zon en ik zijn geen vrienden. 

Ik keek er dus wel wat tegen op om zo lang in de zon rond te lopen, dus smeerde ik me goed in met deze crèmes en als controle smeerde ik mijn voeten niet in.

Omdat ik niet wil bruinen, gebruikte ik de factor 50.

Ik heb me telkens na een 4-tal uur terug wat ingesmeerd en ik ben niet gebruind! 

Ter controle: mijn voeten waren wel gebruind, je ziet de lijntjes waar mijn sandalen zaten.

Ook mijn mama, die normaal snel verbrand en dan pijnlijk rood wordt, heeft een hele dag zon uitgehouden dankzij deze zonnecrème, ze is zelfs niet rood geworden.

Héél tevreden over deze zonnecrème dus, een echte aanrader voor iedereen die zich goed wil beschermen tegen de zon.
